Description
The Carpenters’ Tower (Turnul Dulgherilor) was built in the late Middle Ages as part of Sibiu’s outer fortifications, guarding the southern side of the city. Its name comes from the carpenters’ guild, which was responsible for maintaining and defending this section of the walls.
