dc.descriptionThe Council Tower (Turnul Sfatului) dates back to the 13th century and originally formed part of Sibiu’s fortifications, guarding the passage between the Large Square and the Small Square. Over time it was rebuilt several times after partial collapses, and today its upper level offers a calm view over the historic center and the surrounding rooftops.
